• Now people can communicate with their family or relatives without having to send a letter on horseback that could take weeks. It was almost instant
Steamboat-

• It allowed people to use boats more efficiently without sails
• The steamboat was essential for trade and other things because sails did not have to be used and the steam engine allowed the boat to move at a faster pace
Spin Mill-
• Invented by Richard Arkwright
• It harnesses the power of water to spin cotton
• The spin mill made it more efficient to spin cotton without having to do it manually
Steel Plow-
• Invented by John Deere
• It digs the soil so seeds could be planted
• The steel plow allowed farmers to plow through tough soil and land
Cotton Gin-
• Invented by Eli Whitney
• Cleans cotton by removing its seeds
• Made it easier to remove seeds instead of doing it manually with two combs
